Rair Technologies LLC, a provider of safety and compliance services to the transportation industry, has named a new CEO and promoted two executives.

Rair’s founder and owner, Henry Goldberg, named Gregory Lofy as president and CEO, the company said Aug. 26.

Lofy has been with the company since it was founded in 2001. He succeeded J.J. Singh, who held the same two posts for a year, but has left the company, Rair said.

Rair spokeswoman Stephanie Wagner told Transport Topics that Lofy’s goal as CEO is “to create a single, web-based solution for safety and compliance analytics.”

The new program “merges safety data with CSA data — for the entire carrier, for locations within the fleet and for individual drivers,” Lofy said in a statement. “The ability to view CSA data alongside audit data, from paper logs, EOBRs, paper DVIRs [driver vehicle inspection reports] and electronic DVIRs, is extremely valuable.”

The company also announced that John Van Nortwick has been promoted to chief operating officer. Previously, Van Nortwick served as Rair’s senior vice president of information technology.

In addition, Ivan Paez has been promoted to vice president and director of information technology. Both Van Nortwick and Paez have been with Rair for eight years.

Rair said it completes about 8 million audits of electronic and paper driver logs each month.
