PowerFleet Inc. was selected by Rusken Packaging to outfit the private fleet’s trailers with the PowerFleet LV-500 solar-tracking solution and the PowerFleet LV-710 freight camera.

The Cullman, Ala.-based company — which operates a 60-truck, 400-trailer fleet — will use PowerFleet’s equipment to help maintain visibility of location and load status for its trailers.

“The past few months have proven that now more than ever transparency and efficiency are the best defense against supply chain vulnerabilities,” Jeff Bowman, Rusken corporate logistics director, said in a release.

Woodcliff, N.J.-based PowerFleet provides subscription-based wireless internet of things and machine-to-machine options for securing, controlling, tracking and managing assets such as industrial trucks, tractor trailers, containers, cargo, cars, and light- and heavy-duty truck fleets. — Transport Topics
