Five employees will be hired to operate the warehouse, which is due to open Jan. 20.

“Pilot is excited to open a new top-tier warehouse in Las Vegas,” said John Hill, president and chief commercial officer for Pilot Freight Services. “This warehouse will provide excellent benefits to clients in the Las Vegas area with its prime location to trade show warehouses — the space is adjacent to GES and Freeman and only 5 miles from the airport.”

A roof made of Polar-Ply Radiant Barriers offer an aluminum foil sheet that prevents 97% of summer radiant heat from entering the building, reducing temperatures by up to 50 degrees. This climate technology will sustain the entire warehouse at a constant temperature to protect products and technology that are sensitive to extreme temperatures including medical devices, consumer electronics and gaming industry merchandise.
