Old Dominion Starts Indiana Expansion Project

Old Dominion Freight Line said it has broken ground on an expansion of its regional hub in Indianapolis that will cost nearly $22 million.

The company said it is increasing the terminal size to 325 doors from 223 doors and adding 84,000 square feet of freight-handling space, making the facility one of the largest in ODFL’s network of 213 service centers.

In addition, the company will be hiring 183 new employees by 2014 to support the expansion.
