Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, responded to a tweet speculating about what versions of the Cybertruck will be available for purchase by saying initial production will be of the four-motor variant.

Following up by replying to another question about whether the vehicle could turn similarly to a tank, he said the Cybertruck would be able drive diagonally because of independent steering of the front and back wheels.

He reiterated his description of the vehicle as an “insane technology bandwagon.”

Musk also answered "But yes" when one person asked if those customers with reservations for non-four-motor versions would be able to upgrade.

And for the cars currently on the road, he said that the company’s latest driving software, FSD beta 10.6, would be arriving shortly.
