Michelin Plans $300 Million Investment in China Tire Plant

Tire maker Michelin said plans to invest $300 million to make tires in China, Bloomberg reported.The company’s factory in Shenyang, China, will make 12 billion tires annually, making it the world’s largest tire production center, Bloomberg reported, citing the Chinese news agency Xinhua.Michelin said on its Web site that it has already invested $150 million in the facility, Bloomberg reported.
