Mack Selects David Hartzell to Lead Defense Unit

Mack Trucks named David Hartzell CEO of Mack Defense.

Hartzell was most recently the unit’s senior director of product development, purchasing and projects. He will be based in Allentown, Pa.

Mack Defense, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mack Trucks, sells heavy-duty trucks to federal- and ministerial-level customers globally.

Mack Trucks, based in Greensboro, N.C., is a unit of Volvo Group.
