Love’s Opens Second Location in San Antonio
Travel Stop's 83rd Store in Texas Features 70 Truck Parking Spaces and First Whataburger Restaurant
Love’s Travel Stops recently opened its second San Antonio location, which will soon feature its first Whataburger restaurant, the company announced April 16.
The 14,954-square-foot travel stop has 70 truck parking spaces and is located at 9530 Southton Road, off Interstate 410 at Exit 412. Love’s said it has added 534 truck parking spaces this year to help address the national shortage. Love’s previously said it planned to open 20 stores featuring 1,500 truck parking spaces in 2026.
The store also includes laundry facilities, seven showers, a CAT Scale and a dog park. The Whataburger at the location is set to open May 4.
PREMIUM: Truck Parking Breaks New Ground
The Love’s has space set aside for electric vehicle chargers, allowing the company to partner with local utility companies to install charging stations should customer demand arise.
The store, Love’s 83rd in Texas, is expected to add 50 jobs in the community. Love’s marked the opening by donating $5,000 each to the East Central High School Band and Christus Children’s Hospital.
Oklahoma City-based Love’s ranks No. 28 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest private carriers in North America.
