Load-Matching Services Form Alliance

Online load-matching rivals DAT Services and Link Logistics will combine their databases to offer customers freight-matching information that covers the U.S. and Canada, the companies announced last week.

Customers of DAT, Portland, Ore., will have access to Ontario-based Link’s Canadian load and equipment database, and Link customers can use DAT’s U.S. freight-matching database.

The companies project that consolidation of the databases will be complete within three to six months.
