Livingston Intl. Acquires Advantex Express

Livingston International has acquired the assets of Advantex Express Inc. as well as the shares of its U.S. subsidiaries. Terms were not disclosed.

Founded in 1987, Advantex is based in Mississauga, Ontario, and specializes in freight services through its agent network as well as freight audit and customs brokerage services. The company has about 50 employees in Canada and the United States.

“With the acquisition of this transportation services and customs brokerage firm, Livingston is further expanding its Canadian and U.S. freight forwarding and brokerage operations, while giving us additional ground freight audit capabilities,” Livingston CEO Steve Preston said in a statement.

Livingston International, based in Chicago, is an international freight forwarding company and customs broker.



“Livingston’s extensive coverage in Canada and the U.S., particularly in key regional air/sea markets and along the U.S. southern border, will benefit our customers and offer additional career opportunities for our employees,”Advantex President Greg Richard said.
