Legion Logistics Announces First Acquisition

Legion Logistics, a disabled veteran-owned 3PL, has announced its first acquisition, according to a Jan. 14 press release. The company will grow more than 10% with the acquisition of Qontinuity Enterprises, a 3PL based in Tennessee.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

“We’ve spent the last year talking to many different companies, trying to find one that was the right fit for Legion,” said Lacy Starling, president of Legion, in the release. “Qontinuity checks all our boxes — they are hardworking, ethical and knowledgeable and they bring a host of additional services to Legion that we can now offer our customers.”



Qontinuity was founded in 2010 and also is a disabled veteran-owned company, specializing in federal and state government transportation contracts, as well as in automotive and building products industries. Founder Michael Archual will become Legion’s executive director of business development.

Legion, founded in 2009, is based in Florence, Ky. The company specializes in full truckload, LTL, government freight, hazardous materials and produce shipping. — Transport Topics
