The Kraft Heinz Co. announced the deployment of three T-Series battery-electric terminal trucks from Orange EV at its distribution center in Groveport, Ohio.

Firefly Transportation Services — which provides electric trucks for yard operations — will manage the trucks, which it said will do the work formerly accomplished by five diesel-powered vehicles.

The electric trucks were partially funded by the American Lung Association through a grant provided by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Diesel Emissions Reductions Act program. — Transport Topics
