The price of goods imported to the United States fell 6.7% in November, the largest drop since recording began in 1988, the Labor Department said Thursday.

The decline, led by cheaper oil, food and automobiles from abroad, followed a revised 4.9% decrease in October.

Oil prices fell 25.8%, a new record, while prices excluding oil fell 1.8%.
