Trucking industry executives and stakeholders will offer viewpoints about motor carrier provisions under a 2015 highway law during a roundtable panel hosted by the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee on April 13.

The highway law, known as the FAST Act, calls on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration to improve its rulemaking as a way to minimize regulatory burdens.

Attending the roundtable will be Dave Osiecki, executive vice president and chief of national advocacy at American Trucking Associations; Bill Quade, associate administrator for enforcement at FMCSA; Todd Spencer, executive vice president at the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association; Bill Blankenship, chief operating officer of Greyhound Lines Inc.; Collin Mooney, executive director of the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance; and Cathy Chase, vice president of governmental affairs at the Advocates for Highways and Auto Safety.

The roundtable is scheduled to start at 10 a.m.
