GlobalTranz Makes Third Freight Broker Acquisition of 2017

GlobalTranz Enterprises has completed its third acquisition this year, purchasing freight broker Worthington Logistics Solutions of Timonium, Md.

“We have worked with GlobalTranz as a freight agent for seven years, and its freight brokerage technology and back-office services have really helped us be successful,” said Kiki Worthington, founder of Worthington Logistics Solutions. “We are excited to become part of GlobalTranz, and I look forward to contributing to the company’s growth.”

“Worthington Logistics Solutions is a great addition for GlobalTranz,” added Bob Farrell, chairman and CEO of GlobalTranz. “They bring a strong customer service focus and expertise in freight brokerage operations that will be valuable assets for our organization. I’m excited to have Kiki and her team on board.”

The Phoenix company also acquired Logistics Planning Services in May and Global Freight Source in January.



GlobalTranz ranks No. 13 on the Transport Topics sector list of the top freight brokerage firms in North America.
