Gasoline Prices Fall 14 Cents in Two Weeks, Lundberg Says

Average U.S. retail gasoline prices fell 14 cents over the past two weeks to $2.18 a gallon, according to the latest Lundberg survey of gasoline prices released Sunday.Lundberg cited falling crude oil prices as the main factor in the decline, which was the first in her survey since early November. Oil prices have fallen about 15% since the beginning of the year.The survey covered the period of Jan. 6 through Friday.The highest price for self-serve regular was $2.81 a gallon in Honolulu. The lowest was in Detroit, at $1.86.
