Gasoline Falls 7¢ to $3.47, Lundberg Survey Reports

Gasoline declined 7 cents in the past two weeks to $3.47 a gallon, continuing its recent downward trend, according to the latest Lundberg survey of filling stations released Sunday.

Gas is almost 50 cents lower than its high in April, according to analyst Trilby Lundberg, Bloomberg reported. The twice-monthly survey covered the two-week period ended Friday.

The Department of Energy’s weekly survey showed that gasoline has plunged 40 cents in the past four weeks, while diesel has declined 17 cents.

DOE will release its weekly survey of diesel and gasoline pump prices Monday afternoon in Washington.
