Gas Gains 14¢ in Three Weeks to $2.74 a Gallon

Gasoline’s national average price jumped 14 cents in the past three weeks to $2.74 a gallon, according to the latest Lundberg Survey of fuel prices released Sunday.

Mid-grade and premium both rose 9 cents, to $2.86 and $2.97 a gallon, analyst Trilby Lundberg said in her twice-monthly survey of filling stations.

The lowest price was in Cheyenne, Wyo., at $2.36 a gallon. Anchorage, Alaska, had the highest at $3.28.

The Department of Energy will release its weekly national averages of diesel and gasoline Monday afternoon in Washington.
