The symposium featured panel discussions among industry leaders as well as one-on-one interviews with Chao, Cardin (a Democrat from Maryland) and Graves (a Republican from Missouri).

The resilience of the supply chain has risen in importance this year. Hurricanes, wildfires and the COVID-19 pandemic have forced decision-makers to think differently about the way goods move. This symposium tapped into the expertise of both policymakers and business leaders.

Business leaders discussed how the year's crises will change supply chains in the long run, and addressed ways in which fleets, shippers and 3PLs can better prepare for volatile freight demand. Participants included:

  • Drew Wilkerson, XPO Logistics
  • Chad England, C.R. England
  • Sid Brown, NFI Industries
  • Jason Ringgenberg, YRC Worldwide
  • Drew McElroy, Transfix

Sessions were led by TT's Dan Ronan and Seth Clevenger, and CQ Roll Call's Jessica Wehrman.

This event concludes Session One of a two-part virtual event series marking a collaboration between Transport Topics and CQ Roll Call.
