Eberhart Capital Buys Nebraska Trucking Firm Poling Transportation

Private equity firm Eberhart Capital said it acquired Omaha, Neb.-based trucking firm Poling Transportation. Terms were not disclosed.

Poling, a temperature-controlled freight transportation company, was founded in 1974 as a dairy delivery company.

Eberhart said Poling will continue to operate under its current management team in Omaha.

In July, Eberhart purchased Golden Drop Trucking. Los Angeles, and in October bought Twin Express, Rogers, Minn., Eberhart Capital’s Managing Director Dan Eberhart told Transport Topics.



Eberhart said the combined revenue of the three companies is $40 million, with a fleet of more than 200 trucks.
