Refrigerated carrier C.R. England Inc. and its affiliate Premier Truck Driving Schools opened a driving school in Conley, Georgia, southeast of Atlanta, they announced.

The location of the school will make it possible for students who live in the South to receive comprehensive CDL training closer to home, the company said.

The carrier said it also is preparing some of the site as an active terminal.

“Having this school in the South allows us to really open our network and support surrounding states where we have strategically aligned ourselves with our customers and high volume lanes, and it helps drivers find their career paths quickly and get into routes that work for them,” the company said in a prepared statement.

It has not announced the official opening for the rest of the property, but Premier Truck Driving Schools - a network with a total of five locations - is already enrolling students, the company said.

C.R. England ranks No. 23 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
