Clean Energy Fuels Corp. Adds Natural Gas Fleets

Clean Energy Fuels Corp., a provider of natural gas fuel for transportation in North America, added three large fleets serving as United States Postal Service carriers to its customer list, plus other trucking customers.

They include Postal Fleet Services, based in St. Augustine, Fla., and one of the largest such carriers, according to Clean Energy Fuels.

Also included is Thunder Ridge Transport, a 150-truck carrier servicing 13 states that is based in Springfield, Mo., as well as Edward Zengel & Sons Express of Fort Myers, Fla. The addition of these three fleets brings the total number of USPS carriers fueled by Clean Energy to 13, the Newport Beach, Calif.-based company said.

In addition, long-time Clean Energy customer Ruan Transportation Management Systems, has also awarded Clean Energy a fueling contract for compressed natural gas trucks operating out of Dallas and Austin, Texas.



Ruan ranks No. 25 on the Transport Topics Top 50 list of the largest logistics companies in North America.

Additionally, Food Express, a national transporter of food grade commodities, based in Arcadia, Calif. will begin fueling with Clean Energy for their routes in Southern California.
