Chainalytics Buys Crosstown Rival

Chainalytics LLC, a supply chain and consulting firm based in Atlanta, said July 14 it had acquired crosstown counterpart Chainnovations LLC for an undisclosed sum.

The buyer said that Irv Grossman, founder and managing partner of Chainnovations, will lead a new supply chain and logistics consulting practice as vice president at Chainalytics.

Before founding Chainnovations, Grossman was vice president of supply chain operations for Cingular Wireless.
