Cargo Connection, Scanwell Form Logistics Partnership

argo Connection Logistics Holding said Thursday that its subsidiary had entered into a non-exclusive partnership with Scanwell Logistics to provide warehouse services, transportation services and information systems and support.

The unit, Cargo Connection Logistics Corp., will extend overall logistics services and solutions provided by Scanwell Logistics to current U.S. import customers.

The company said the partnership will provide Scanwell customers worldwide with flexibility and controls within supply chain management.

Scanwell Logistics’ worldwide headquarters is in Hong Kong, and has U.S. headquarters in San Francisco. The company is an international freight forwarder and third party logistics provider to Asian and U.S. corporations.

Cargo Connection Logistics Holding consists of Cargo Connection Logistics Corp. and Mid-Coast Management, both of which are headquartered in Inwood, N.Y.
