ACS Sets Driver Recruitment, Retention Technology

Affiliated Computer Services said it has launched today announced the launch an automated recruitment and retention application for the transportation industry.

The HireWorks system allows applicants and users to manage and capture hiring information, including release forms required by the U.S. Department of Transportation, gaps in employment, and a DOT-compliant signature, all on a desktop application, ACS said Tuesday.

Company Web sites can be used as gateways to the HireWorks network, which tracks, processes and stores driver/applicant information, ACS said.

The program offers an extensive driver qualification file management program that issues alerts for missing or expiring information, it said.
