ABF to Raise Rates 5.4%
ABF Freight will increase its rates by an average of 5.4%.
The effect on specific lanes and shipments may vary from the 5.4% average, ABF said in an Oct. 24 statement. The new rates become effective Nov. 3 and will be available to customers through abf.com, according to the company.
ABF’s announcement came after Con-way Freight said it would raise rates an average of 4.7% starting Oct. 27.
ABF Freight is the less-than-truckload unit of ArcBest Corp., which ranks No. 13 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
