How to Reduce Risk Ahead of the 2027 Truck Emission Changes

Program Aired: August 15, 2 p.m. ET.

In March, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency finalized stricter greenhouse gas emission limits for commercial trucks that take effect beginning in 2027. While manufacturers develop trucks and engines to comply with this rule and other emission regulations at the state and federal level, fleet managers will need to plan their equipment strategies accordingly.

With an anticipated pre-buy event looming, fleets must plan ahead to secure new trucks and manage the risks associated with the technology transition and its impact on the equipment market. What decisions do you need to make now and in the coming years to best prepare your fleet for success?

Find out how you can take the risk out of the anticipated truck pre-buy ahead of 2027. Transport Enterprise Leasing’s Jacob Brazier, vice president of fleet leasing, and Aaron Thompson, vice president of asset management, join TT’s Seth Clevenger for a special interview on creating success strategies for trucking companies amid the shift to cleaner truck technologies.
