Xtra Names Franz New CEO

ransportation equipment lessor Xtra Corp. said Tuesday that Bill Franz was named the company's new chief executive officer.

Xtra said in a that Franz would remain president of the Xtra Lease unit, a position he has held for the past 11 years.

Franz succeeds Lou Rubin, who retired from the company, the St. Louis Business Journal reported.



Xtra also said it was relocating its executive offices to its headquarters in St. Louis. Rubin had been based in Westport, Conn.

Franz previously worked GE’s TIP and Strick Lease before joining Xtra, the company said.
