XPO Logistics Reports 3Q Loss

XPO Logistics reported a third-quarter loss citing “soft market conditions.”

XPO lost $3.9 million, or 22 cents per share, compared with a loss of $44.4 million, or $5.38 per share, in the year-ago period which had included a $44.6 million charge.

Revenue increased about 50% to $71 million from the same period last year.

In October, XPO purchased Turbo Logistics, the freight brokerage division of logistics company OHL, for $50 million.
