Xata, ALK Launch Navigation Software for XataNet

Fleet software providers Xata Corp. and ALK Technologies on Monday announced the launch of CoPilot Truck 8 Professional for XataNet.

The navigation product, integrated with XataNet, features ALK’s updated PC*Miler 25 routing and is now available on more hardware platforms, ALK said.

CoPilot Truck 8 calculates truck routes without using mobile communications or off-board computers and automatically generates voice-guided, turn-by-turn directions, ALK said.
