Werner Enterprises Opens Shop in Arkansas

Truckload carrier Werner Enterprises has opened a shop in West Memphis, Ark., to replace its drop yard in Marion, Ark.

The 20,000-square-foot shop will provide four tractor repair bays, four trailer repair bays, 128 trailer stalls and 45 truck stalls, according to a Nov. 1 press release. The facility also will serve as a Werner Fleet Sales office. Through 2019, it will expand its services to include safety personnel, orientation classes and additional driver amenities.

“We are excited to provide a new state-of-the-art facility that will enhance the lives of our professional drivers and associates,” Werner CEO Derek Leathers said. “This aligns with our initiative to continue building, expanding and upgrading our facilities nationwide.”
