Warren Hoemann Named ATA Senior Vice President

arren Hoemann has been named senior vice president of American Trucking Associations, ATA said Wednesday.

Hoemann, who was deputy administrator for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration under Annette Sandberg, will assume his ATA post on Sep. 18, the trucking group said in a statement.

Before FMCSA, Hoemann worked as vice president of the California Trucking Association, prior to which he was vice president of government relations for less-than-truckload carrier Yellow Corp., which has since acquired Roadway Corp. and changed its name to YRC Worldwide.
