Wabash Suspends Dividend Payments

Trailer maker Wabash National Corp. said Monday it is suspending its quarterly dividend, “due to the impact of continued weak economic conditions and the uncertainty regarding the timing of a recovery.”

Suspending the dividends will save it $5.5 million per year, Wabash said in a statement.

The move comes a week after Wabash said it would lay off 800 employees at an Indiana factory following a two-week holiday shutdown.
