Wabash Adds Supreme Upfit Center in Tampa

Wabash National Corp. announced it has opened a Supreme Upfit Solutions and Service location in Tampa, Fla., for all makes of commercial truck and van bodies.

It marks the third such center to open since 2018, adding to its facilities in Griffin, Ga., and Cleburne, Texas, according to the Lafayette, Ind.-based company.

Upfit solutions include shelving for package delivery, trade-specific packages, partitions, roof racks, aluminum and steel flatbed bodies, hitches, thermal solutions, liftgates, telematics and backup camera systems.



At the same time, truck body service is available for dry, refrigerated, flatbed or service truck body customers, as well as rapid response pickup and delivery within a 50-mile radius of the center. Available services include basic maintenance for Class 4 and up, truck body collision repair, door repair and replacement, and truck body transfers and refurbishment.

Publicly traded Wabash National designs and manufactures dry freight and refrigerated trailers, platform trailers, bulk tank trailers, dry and refrigerated truck bodies, structural composite panels and products, trailer aerodynamic solutions, and specialty food grade and pharmaceutical equipment. — Transport Topics
