Vexure Reports Higher 1Q Logistics Revenue

hird-party logistics firm and freight forwarder Vexure Inc. said Friday its first-quarter revenue rose 41%, to more than $31 million.

The Jacksonville, Fla., company said in a statement that most of its growth was from its truckload division.

“The truck brokerage division grew significantly in 2004 and the first-quarter of 2005,” said Thomas Piatak, the company’s president.



Vexure is a unit of NYK Logistics Americas, which is a unit of the NYK Group, Tokyo. NYK Logistics Americas is ranked No. 35 on the Transport Topics Logistics 50 list of U.S. and Canadian logistics firms.
