Utility Trailer Manufacturing Co. opened a new full-service dealer location in Tolleson, Arizona.

“We outgrew our old facility, the one we had operated in for the past 60 years. Our productivity was suffering due to the space constraints, and it was difficult for our customers to access,” George Cravens, president of Utility Trailer Sales of Arizona, said in a statement.

The new 61,000-square-foot facility sits next to Interstate 10 between two major north/south thoroughfares, the City of Industry, California-based manufacturer said. A truck bypass is soon to be built and will run a few miles east of the new location.

“Since we back right up to Interstate 10, the new site is very easy to access. Plus, we have neighbors that will add value to our place as a service destination – including Inland Kenworth, Love’s Travel Center and a soon to be built Blue Beacon Truck Wash,” Cravens said.

Kenworth Truck Co. is a unit of Paccar Inc.

The service department includes 38,000 square feet of workspace with 20 service bays available inside and 10 outside, Utility said.

Highly complicated repairs can be done, it said, using a frame straightening rack, laser alignment, temperature controlled foam-in-place insulation booth and two 5-ton cranes.
