USA Truck’s Third-Quarter Profit Increases

ruckload carrier USA Truck said Thursday that its third-quarter net income rose to $4.2 million or 40 cents a share, from $2 million or 22 cents a year earlier.

Revenue rose 11.9% to $95.5 million from the previous third quarter, and operating income rose to $8.8 million from $5 million a year earlier.

SA Truck is ranked No. 62 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of the largest U.S. and Canadian trucking companies.
