USA Truck's Income and Revenue Rise for Quarter, Year

ruckload carrier USA Truck said Thursday that its fourth-quarter net income rose to $4.3 million or 37 cents a share, from $3 million or 32 cents a year earlier.

Revenue including fuel surcharges rose to $118.1 million from $95.5 million in the previous fourth quarter, base revenue rose 14% to $97.1 million.

For the year, the carrier earned $15.7 million or $1.51 a share, from $7.4 million or 79 cents a year earlier. Revenue rose to $439.7 million last year from $363.1 million in 2004.



SA Truck is ranked No. 62 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of the largest U.S. and Canadian trucking companies.
