U.S. Xpress Names President of Global Systems Unit

ruckload carrier U.S. Xpress Enterprises Friday said it had appointed John Bowes as president of its Xpress Global Systems subsidiary.

Bowes had been executive vice president and of the unit during the past year and has been with the company since 1993.

Prior to Bowes’ appointment, U.S. Xpress Co-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Max Fuller had been serving as president of the Xpress Global Systems division.



In his new position, Bowes will oversee all aspects of Xpress Global Systems' operations, customer service, sales and marketing, safety and driver recruiting, the company said in a statement.

U.S. Xpress is ranked No. 21 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
