U.S. Xpress Appoints Nathan Harwell to Two Executive Posts

Nathan Harwell has joined U.S. Xpress Enterprises Inc. as executive vice president and chief legal officer, the company announced Feb. 4.

Harwell will support that operation by overseeing all legal matters and report to CEO Eric Fuller.

“Nathan’s comprehensive legal experience will be a valuable asset as U.S. Xpress continues to drive innovation,” Fuller said in a statement. “We are excited to welcome him to our team, and will lean on his guidance and insight as we embrace technology to help provide a more customized level of service for customers across the United States.”

Harwell also will serve as an adviser on business development, as well as legislative and regulatory affairs. Most recently, he was general counsel and corporate secretary at tankless water heaters company Rinnai America Corp., where he also served on the board of directors.
