UPS Tightens Times on Second-Day Air Service

PS Inc. said Wednesday it had accelerated the guaranteed commit time for its 2nd Day Air A.M. delivery service to 10:30 a.m. from noon, and it added a Saturday delivery option for the service.
The moves are part of an overall expansion of the service that also includes the addition of 9,300 ZIP codes to its delivery areas.
“The acceleration of UPS’ 2nd Day Air service and the addition of 2nd Day Air Saturday delivery provide them faster and more flexible services to help meet these challenges,” said Kurt Kuehn, UPS’ senior vice president for worldwide sales and marketing.
