UPS Announces New International Express Air Freight Service

UPS Inc. announced Wednesday a new international express airfreight service for heavy shipments.

With the new Worldwide Express Freight service, customers can ship pallets over 150 pounds from the Asia Pacific region, Europe and South America to the U.S. overnight, according to UPS.

The new service is an extension of UPS Worldwide Express package service and includes many of the same features, including online tracking.

“Customers, particularly in the industrial manufacturing, automotive, high-tech, retail and health care segments, have asked us for the same features for their urgent freight shipments,” said a UPS spokesperson.

UPS Inc. ranks No. 1 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
