United Vision Names Hoffman CEO

Logistics firm United Vision Logistics named Howard Hoffman its permanent CEO, the company said Tuesday.

Hoffman had served as interim CEO before his promotion became effective Jan. 1.

Prior to the CEO position, Hoffman was United Vision’s chief integration officer. He oversaw the merging of Ace Transportation, Dynasty Transportation, Texas Hot Shot Co. and Venture Transport, United Vision said.

“Promoting Howard to be the full-time CEO is a natural progression for United Vision Logistics,” said Sanjay Swani, general partner of Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, the largest sharholder of the Lafayette, La, based company.
