Union Approves Tentative Contract for FedEx Pilots

he governing body of the FedEx unit of the Air Line Pilots Association has approved a tentative contract agreement with the parcel carrier, the pilots union said Friday.

The union’s FedEx Master Executive Council unanimously recommended that the 4,100 FedEx pilots eligible to vote on the agreement ratify the new deal, ALPA said in a statement.

Voting on the four-year contracts is scheduled to begin Sep. 18 and close Oct. 17, the union said.



Last month, the Air Line Pilot’s Association and FedEx announced they had reached the tentative contract agreement after about 30 months of negotiations. (Click here for previous coverage.)
