Trimac’s 2Q Income Improves

Canada-based transportation firm Trimac Income Fund said its second-quarter net earnings rose to C$7.9 million or about 17 cents per unit, from C$4.3 million or 8 cents a year earlier.

Revenue rose 6.1% to C$84.2 million, Trimac said late Monday.

Trimac Group does not include its U.S. operations in its publicly stated earnings, which only encompass Trimac Income Fund and its Canadian operations.

Trimac Group is ranked No. 48 on the 2007 Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
