TravelCenters’ Loss Narrows

TravelCenters of America said Tuesday its first-quarter loss narrowed from a year ago.

The truck stop chain reported a loss of $12 million, or 41 cents per share, from a loss of $14 million, or 49 cents per share, a year ago.

Revenue slipped to $1.96 billion from $2 billion, while revenue from fuel sales dipped to $1.6 billion from $1.7 billion.
