TransForce Signs Deal to Purchase Courier

Canadian transportation and logistics firm TransForce Income Fund said it had signed a definitive agreement to buy Century II Holdings, which owns courier company Information Communication Services.

The company said it will acquire Century for C$10.20 per share, for a total of about C$121 million.

TransForce said it expects to close the deal, first announced in August, next month.

TransForce is ranked No. 19 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
