TransForce Reports Record Fourth-Quarter Results
anadian transportation and logistics firm TransForce Income Fund Friday reported record results for its fourth quarter, with a profit of $31.3 million or 41 cents a share, up from $17.5 million or 30 cents a year earlier.
Revenue rose 25% to $370 million, the company said in a statement. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization grew to $52.4 million from $37 million a year ago.
For the full year, the company earned $128.3 million or $1.74 a share, up from $56.3 million or 98 cents a year earlier. Revenue rose to $1.3 billion, from $960 million.
He said the company’s acquisitions during the year contributed significantly to the improved results. (Click here for previous coverage.)
