TransForce Reports Improved First-Quarter Income, Revenue

anadian transportation firm TransForce Income Fund late Wednesday reported its first-quarter net income rose to C$22 million or 28 cents a share, up from C$13.9 million or 23 cents a year earlier.

Revenue rose 37% to C$438.2 million, the company said in a statement.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization grew to C$50.2 million from C$35.1 million a year ago.
