TransForce Income Fund Acquires Howard’s Transport Services

ransForce Income Fund will acquire Howard’s Transport Services, the Canadian transportation firm said Tuesday in a release.

Howard’s Transport Services is a specialized trucking company that operates in western Canada and hauls such heavy oilfield equipment as drill rigs, TransForce Income Fund said.

TransForce expects to close the acquisition by September.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

TransForce Income Fund is ranked No. 22 on the Transport Topics 100 list of the largest for-hire carriers in the United States and Canada.
